Replacement clutches for Golfstream Electric golf trolleys . If your Golfstream Electric Golf trolley is pulling hard to one side, then the chances are you need one or both clutches replaced. Faulty clutches not only cause the trolley to veer off line, but they can also cause the trolley to drain excessive power from your battery. To test if your clutches are working correctly: Prop the trolley up so the wheels are off the ground. Standing behind the trolley, push each wheel forward – both wheels should spin freely. If any of the wheels doesn’t spin freely then this means that the clutch in that side is probably faulty. Standing behind the trolley (still propped up), pull each wheel towards you – each wheel should turn slowly but not freely, ie there should be a fair amount of resistance. If any of the wheels spin freely backwards then this means that the clutch in that side is faulty. Powakaddy clutches are very easily fitted in minutes using the rollpins which are holding your existing clutches in place, if you require these roll pins we can supply these also. Please use the drop down box below to choose which clutch you need – left or right (when standing behind the trolley). If you require a pair of clutches (1 left and 1 right), then the cost for a pair is £21.99 When you receive your new clutch/es, the left hand clutch has a orange insert and the right hand clutch has a purple insert to show you which one goes where.
